Dear Cornelia, Rene and Tobias! Thank you very much for sharing your
beautiful home with us. It really is one of the nicest places we have
visited on our long travels. Your sense of hospitality is impeccable. We
wish you all the best. My husband and I have been to Mulvehill for three summers (and just
made reservation for the forth week, this time with our daughter). It is
an absolutely amazing place: sophisticated yet remote (no phones, no
television!). Rene, Conny, and Tobias are excellent and warm hosts.
Their place is kept up beautifully and the food served is quite
delicious! We have met some incredibly interesting people from all walks
of life. I cannot recommend this inn enough....my only hesitation is
that, because it is so wonderful, it is hard to get a room! Dear Cornelia and Rene. We trust you are keeping well and send you
the warmest of greetings from a small village in the South of England.
We stayed with you in early June. Just two memorable nights that we
often reflect on and recommend it to all those that plan to visit BC.
With all the world to visit and a decreasing time span says we never
return to the same place, but your welcome and accommodation may just be
the exception! Every good wish for the New Year and should you ever
visit England, the warmest of welcomes awaits you from this address.

had during the X-mas holidays. Your accommodation is certainly one of
the best I've ever been, and your hospitality beats the biggest
resorts around the world. I know, because I travelled a lot (and still
do). I will certainly and with pleasure shall recommend your Inn to a
lot of other people who are seeking for a difference. By far the best B&B we have had the pleasure to stay in. We are
on the last leg of our trip which makes us sad to go, but if we would
have started here we would not have gone any further!! Thank you for an outstanding visit! I couldn't have asked for more -
every aspect of your retreat is first class. You have exceeded the
unbelievably high expectations created by "Frommer's".
Keep it up! We arrived in the middle of a thunderstorm … we thought we'd never
make it. Arriving at Mulvehill Creek was like heaven: Warm hospitality,
warm bed, warm water. After a good night's rest, up early, canoeing,
walking, excellent breakfast, we changed our mind: this is not
heaven, this is paradise. ˇMuchas gracias! What a place! It was our first experience at anything like this.
I doubt it can be done any better ... This is the Enchanted Forest, with magical host & hostess. We
came for one night and stayed for three, and we are reluctant to
leave. …"Leave as a friend" is far more than a slogan -
it's a pleasant truth! Thanks for many lessons and wonderful meals! What a wonderful retreat! Your property is magnificent and your
hospitality definitely first class … It is difficult to leave just
when I'm starting to relax for the first time in months. Thank you, René and Conny, for a unique and beautiful experience.
Your home is so welcoming and warm … The only problem with
Mulvehill Creek is that we have to leave! Sowabona - sala gashle! Your retreat was definitely a highlight of our nearly ended
vacation. The food, hospitality and property are a plus in our minds
for a return visit. Next time we will not hike that much, but enjoy all
the marvelous beauty around your wonderful house. Thank you for the wonderful relaxing three days. This was the perfect
place for our first holidays together. Our best memories are the mossy
banks overlooking the waterfall, the swing at the pool in the afternoon,
the canoe trip to the beach across the lake and the barbecue at the Bald
Eagle Spit. You have thought of everything to make this a
romantic peaceful hideaway. The beauty of your retreat is only surpassed by that of your
kindness. In today's world of high paced activities and technology which
provides impersonal convenience, it is rare to find those who can
blend appreciation of simple pleasures with such hospitable flare!
... Thank you for the experience of your place - your love for the
land, the plants and the animals was shown to us at every turn. I
love all the bear pictures in your home - I too love those ineradicable
animals. The "waterfall experience" was wonderful. You and the
land both support and nurture each other. Our best to you and this
beautiful place. Thank you, René and Conny and Tobias for making my 40th birthday
one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life ... The combination
of beautiful surroundings (especially this winter wonderland), great
tobogganing and hiking helped everybody relax and enjoy this fabulous
weekend. I am sure everyone will be back and I know that I would love to
plan many future adventures here. A "guest journal" it is a "friends' journal"! We
were passing through the area, discovered Mulvehill Creek and stayed.
What a wonderful spot, close to the tourist traps and yet away from it
all. Conny and René, you have developed and are still improving on a
unique place. Strength to your arm! We were touring Canada, came here
to Conny and René and discovered time. Time to relax and to unwind,
time to slow down, time to look around at the lovely countryside, time
to smell the flowers, time to realize that we are on holidays and to
take the time to charge our batteries. Time? Hereabouts there is no
time! And that far the people who came here is a secret. Time does not
exist: we make it. Conny and René, many thanks for making us feel so
comfortable in your home. We leave it with many pleasant memories. . .

see you again! We did not know a place like this actually exists! I still
didn't find that one shortcoming I'm sure exists (nobody is perfect).
However we'll have to give up looking for it this time. We enjoyed all
the many fruits of your well planned work. God bless you! Of all the places we've ever stayed, England, France, Italy,
Portugal, Canada, USA etc. this has to be the most idyllic. You
were right when you said we would want to stay longer than one night! .
. . If we ever have the good fortune to come this way again, this will
be our first port of call. What a lovely place we stumbled into through the internet. We love
your place, and what great hosts you both are ... When the Lord said
"we shall make a beautiful respite for my people away from the
hustle and bustle of this world", he did so here. Love and
friendship Veni, vidi and we were conquered! What an absolutely glorious place
and concept. We arrived in B.C. hoping to find something like this to
stay and we leave with considerable regret. What more can you ask?
A wonderful location, gracious and friendly hosts, superb meals. Many
thanks for all! What a wonderful time we spent here with you. So few people are
able to live their dreams so fully as you. It was especially rich to
meet people from all over the world -- guests from Italy, Belgium,
Oregon, in addition to ours from New York. Thanks so much! What a wonderful experience for our children and ourselves! The many
people we met provided a cultural experience for our family that
we cannot obtain in rural America. It was so heartwarming to meet people
speaking 3 or 4 languages, but still enjoying everyone's company and
their country's differences. The barbeque at the beach was the
"BEST". We have met people here we will remember forever and
be able to look at in our photo album for many years. Thank you for
this "bit of peace" in our busy lives! Your friendliness
and hospitality are remarkable. We will be sure to share this place with
