Wilderness at it's best!
What you always dreamed about Western Canada, it has it all: The majestic mountains, a mirrored lake, an nearly impenetrable forest, an effervescent creek, a breathtaking waterfall, birds and wildlife - all at your doorstep...
"When you leave the Highway, you come into another world!" declare both, Cornelia and René Hueppi, who opened their Mulvehill Creek Wilderness Retreat in 1986 - as a Bed & Breakfast for up to eighteen guests. And you get just that feeling when you turn onto the steep one mile driveway leading to this unique place. Suddenly the forest embraces you, the wind calms down, the "go all the time" of the highway is far behind you while you dive into a serene, calming atmosphere.

Mulvehill Creek: It has it all!
You pass several murmuring rivulets, unexpectedly the forest opens to Loon Bay and you overlook the north side of the peninsula. The Bay is famous for fly-fishing as the fish hides in the huge cedar stumps left after the flooding of the lake. An arrow leads you to the Bald Eagle Spit where the Mulvehill Creek meets the Upper Arrow Lake and you see the big birds fishing.
